WHAT IS NEXT ENERGY

Next Energy is an initiative promoted by Terna and the Cariplo Foundation and implemented by Cariplo Factory in collaboration with the Terna Campus. The initiatives main objectives are to promote the development of talented young professionals, to support the development of innovative projects in fields related to the electricity system and to provide a concrete contribution towards Italy’s economic growth.

Next Energy is aimed at new graduates in the fields of Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Economics (Call for Talents). The projects offers internships to introduce young and talented graduates into Terna departments working on the development of innovative projects. Next Energy also aims to support teams of innovators and start-ups with innovative proposals through an entrepreneurial empowerment programme (Call for Ideas and Call for Growth).

Next Energy offers ten young new graduates the opportunity to complete a six-month internship at Terna. The internship is delivered through an initial training period held at the Terna Campus followed by on-the-job training at one of Terna’s offices as part of an innovative project management team.
